We're going to give you an update on the Mexico phone registration situation I've been reporting on for the last year. We're going to do a brief Epstein update. I haven't really talked about Jeffrey Epstein in a while, but if you know my work, I've been reporting on him since 2017, and seems like there might be some worthy information to dip into. I'm also going to preview my next article that I'll be writing later this week that relates to the ongoing discussion around AI and this concept of rogue AI and whether or not that's a psyop. And then we're going to get into how that AI conversation intersects with the Iran War and this diesel crisis with some reports from my friend Christian Westbrook, AKA Unshadowed, formerly known as Ice Age Farmer. And yeah, I think that's where we're going to go ahead and take things tonight. So thank you all for being here. I really appreciate you. Not only that, I went to Ground Zero and I did 2 man-on-the-street interviews, including asking New Yorkers, those who were in attendance, if they felt safer with the surveillance state post-9/11. And I also had this experience talking to this guy, this young Jewish man named Elliot, and getting him to actually question some of the 9/11 story. I, I went there completely crowdfunded, which again, as I've shared before and I was sharing on social media recently, this is my favorite way to do journalism because I see this as trading value for value, right? And that's, you know, flights, hotels, other travel costs, taking buses, trains, and food and all the things. So I made about $1,000 that goes into my pocket, but the rest of it you guys helped me travel, and we were able to produce those 8 interviews as I just shared with you guys. So You know, round of applause to everybody who donated, and to those who didn't, that's okay. I understand times are hard, but please do share these interviews. The Roger Waters interview has been getting a lot of attention. So is the Jimmy Dore, and people have been loving this interaction here. I've seen all of your positive comments about my interaction with this man Elliot. This is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to activism. A lot of you know that my background is as an activist. I mean, that's really. how I started out on this whole journey before I ever got into journalism. And so my heart really is in the streets, so to speak. And I love going and talking to people face-to-face and doing things like this, particularly when it comes to 9/11. I mean, being in New York City on 9/11, I feel like it's like the big leagues of doing street activism because, you know, people are very emotional, as you can imagine. People are very heated. And I got— we got, you know, a couple of fuck yous. I didn't get spat on this year. That was great. Um, but as you— if you watch this interaction, this dude is, you know, very hot and just like, oh, you guys are all conspiracy theorists, you think X, Y, and Z, you're all crazy. But then with some time and with some patience, I'm able to actually get him to listen to me and actually consider some of the evidence I presented. So that's cool, and I love doing that. As I said, I'm going to cover an update on a story I've been following since last summer. You guys know I live in Mexico, in Morelia, Central Mexico, and last July the Mexican government passed a set of laws that were focused on telecommunications laws, the internet, and all kinds of different things, and. You know, overall, these laws were all horrible. They are all about sort of moving Mexico closer to the biosecurity digital, you know, panopticon state. And, uh, and that's, you know, definitely something I don't support. And so I've been following these developments, and you guys may remember that in June I reported how, uh, there was a delay and, and how the Mexican government actually delayed the rollout of the program. Let me go ahead and show you that. Article real quick, and this was because they realized as the deadline was approaching when this law was going into effect, which would require Mexican citizens to register their phones with their identity, which in some countries is maybe just a normal thing and mandatory. But in Mexico, as well as I think the United States, you can still go to a Walmart and buy you know just a kind of over-the-counter SIM card with no ID or anything like that. Well, that's pretty common in Mexico, and so the Mexican government has been saying for a couple years that this is one. One of the ways that cartels and criminals are kidnapping people and doing fraud. And so their answer to that is to force the entire nation to register their phone lines with their identities, which obviously for activists or just people who are domestic violence victims or just people who value privacy, that's not something they want to do. So many people have pushed back and, and really dragged their feet and were not in a hurry to do this in any way. And so in June, the Mexican government delayed it. Now, as I reported at that time in this article, they delayed it with, as you can see here on screen, sort of a staggered deadline. So rather than trying to force the entire country to comply, which was not happening— millions, more than by some estimates, 3/4 of the country was not registering their phone lines— and so the Mexican government said, all right, let's try to divide and conquer, is what it seems like. And they, they said, okay, if your number ends in 0, then you must register by August 15th. If your number ends in 1, you must register by August 31st. Number 2, September 15th. Number 3, September 30th, and so on and so forth until we get to number 9. If your number ends in number 9, your deadline is December 31st, the end of this year. So that's what I had previously reported. And now we've had a couple of deadlines passed. We passed August 15th deadline, the August 31st deadline, and the September 1st deadline, and now the September 15th deadline. So 4 deadlines have passed, and I am sad to say, my friends, but they are absolutely Cutting off some people's phone lines for failing to register in early September, earlier this month, Mexico's Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, the CRT, released a statement. They claim that 9.55 million phone numbers ending in number one were registered. They said that 1.9 million numbers had been temporarily deactivated because if you don't comply, they'll deactivate your phone. And then if you comply after that, you know, you're like your phone number still exists. You'll get everything back. But then you know you just gotta you just gotta comply and then we'll get you. Back on, you know, back in service. And so they said 1.9 million people were deactivated, and then they said 1.16 were reactivated after registration. So they're claiming that pretty much all the people are complying. Now, I'm very skeptical of this, this, this claim, but it is factual. I have friends here in Mexico who have Mexican phone numbers, and they have definitely been— had their service cut off. I also found numerous people around the internet, you know, Twitter, Mexican Twitter and elsewhere, who are, you know, have been cut, their lines have been cut. And there's still people saying we're not going to comply. Now the Mexican government's claiming that millions of people were deactivated and then millions of people complied. I'm sure some people did, but there are definitely people who are saying screw this, I'm not going to comply no matter what. And so when the Mexican government announced that this, uh, this claim earlier this month, they said The link linking the phone number with the identity seeks to eliminate anonymity on mobile lines to contribute to the fight against crimes committed through the cell phone, such as fraud and extortion. However, I found many people who are completely skeptical of the reasoning behind this. There are many people who don't trust the government and they believe that, you know, this is just going to lead to less privacy, less privacy, more surveillance, things like that. And this is definitely relevant because the Mexican government has had numerous Mexican government databases hacked. including one just in late 2025 where hackers used Claude AI to gain access to private information. Now, one user I found on Twitter wrote, I'm really upset because they didn't register my line. They suspended my service and I was left without data. I paid for the phone. I paid the balance and the service too. Why do I have to give more information just to use it? More citizen info doesn't mean more security. And then there was even some users who said they actually did register their phone lines, but they were still cut off. One user said, They suspended my line. My deadline hasn't passed yet. The app says my line is registered, and then what? I've been waiting for over two hours for a turn in the chat and on the phone, and nothing. Just a bot. And so you can see this person responding here. And so, as I said, the requirement based on laws passed in July 2025 requires people to connect an identity to their SIM card. And this is this is this is not something that many of us are happy about, myself included. Now I don't even have a phone, but most of the people I know who especially foreigners and foreign foreign immigrants, they have phones registered in Canada or the US or Europe, and so it doesn't really apply to them. But that doesn't mean we don't care. And I care as a journalist, I care as an activist, I care as just a human being if my friends and family, Mexican friends and family out here, are being compelled to, to, to, to do this. And, and I don't think it's going to lead to any increased safety. I think we all know this is about control. Now interestingly, as the deadline, which was just last week, for the number is ending in 2 on this 15th As that deadline approached, the media outlet Excelsior released an article which detailed how some citizens are using eSIMs or digital SIMs that allow users to continue to operate their phone. And basically eSIMs, you know, it's like you have a SIM card in your phone. This is just a digital SIM. And so you can buy these from different websites, including one called Nada Nada that allows you to just still use certain services on data. Now you don't have an actual phone line, so you don't necessarily get SMS texts. Uh, for certain apps like WhatsApp, which is sort of necessary in a place like Mexico where everybody's on WhatsApp. But it does give you some workarounds, and you can see this article right here. It says, with foreign eSIMs, Mexicans, um, turn the required phone registration around. And so it's basically an article just acknowledging that, hey, there's some websites trying to give people options to avoid registering. And it was interesting is on that same day, the Mexican government issued a press release attempting to discourage people from using eSIMs, which I thought was sort of funny that a website like the media outlet Excelsior wasn't even like saying, hey guys, if you want to get around this, try this. They were just acknowledging the fact that there are people who are trying to avoid registering by using technologies like eSIMs and other things like that. The Mexican government was very quick to put out their own press release discouraging this and saying that some companies have policies which prohibit permanent roaming, which is sort of what you do on eSIM. Your eSIM might be registered to a foreign country, and thus you could continue to get data without registering phone in Mexico. So they're basically saying, hey, you shouldn't do this because some companies don't allow you to do permanent roaming. And by the way, they claimed eSIM platforms can cost up to 10 times higher than the Mexican rates. The CRT urges the population not to fall into deceptions of offers on social networks or websites that promise to avoid linking. So they're really discouraging this. And then I found journalist Pamela Cerdeira, um, Responded to the statement and claims that the phone registration would stop criminal extortion, calling that scheme a lie. And so there's definitely some back and forth here where people are trying to avoid it. In addition to the eSIMs, there's also this tweet I found here, and there's more than one, of Mexican citizens. They're trying to register their phone line, but in this one, they're scanning the face of a statue of a saint. So let me just show you this video on screen here. This is you see how right here they've got this like it looks like a statue of the Pope or something like that, and you can see on the on screen they have Telcel, and so they're trying to register, and on the screen it's asking them go ahead and scan your face and and so we can come you know get your ID, and they're scanning the face of the statue of the Pope, and it might take the picture, but unfortunately the person did comment and saying that. It still asks them, you know, for their, their basically their, their voting card, their voting registration. Uh, and so it might not be, you know, the perfect match, the perfect fix, but people are in general trying to find ways around registering their phone line. But it is clear that efforts to force Mexicans to register their phones and rolling out of biometric identity, as well as other practices which I'm going to write about soon, how the Mexican government recently announced that they're going to try to eliminate cash in the country Good luck with that. All of these policies are focused on trying to eliminate privacy and individual sovereignty in Mexico. So it's unfortunate that some people are getting their phone lines cut. I was optimistic and grateful to report in June, as you guys saw, probably, you know, for those who remember back in June, I was doing interviews on Redacted and other shows and just saying like, this is a sign of how we can stand together and we can avoid these programs. And I still believe that, but unfortunately the Mexican government is, you know, it seems like their staggered approach by isolating people by individual numbers rather than trying to force it on the entire country seems like it's winning and it's having some success. Now I want to add that I have talked to some Mexican friends that say like, hey, I had a number ending 0, 1, 2, and whatever, and the deadline passed and their service wasn't cut. So it seems like it's random. Some people are being cut, some people aren't being cut. I don't know. It could be dependent on the cell phone provider, but it definitely is happening. So I'll keep you guys updated. I will continue to follow the situation, of course, because why? You know, just I guess to wrap that up, why does this matter? I actually saw some comment on the Last American Vagabond Substack. Somebody's like, "Why do I give a damn what's happening in Mexico south of the border? I don't care about that." Well, you should, because if these kinds of policies happen in Mexico, they can happen in the United States. They can happen elsewhere, and they are happening in different parts of the world. So it might not affect you in the moment. Maybe you don't have friends and family in Mexico or other countries that are implementing this, but we should learn how other countries and their populations handle these types of policies so that then when it does come to your home country, whether that's the United States or some other country, you have some idea, you're a little bit better prepared instead of just being like, I don't care what's happening in other countries. I only care about America because I'm just an ignorant American who doesn't give a damn about the rest of the world. Yeah, how's that working out for you? But, uh, yeah, we'll stay tuned to that story and I will keep you guys updated on it. So let's go ahead and jump into our next update here. Um, we're gonna go ahead and talk about Jeffrey Epstein. Let's go ahead and get into this. Now this one is maybe about a couple months old actually, but I think it's worth just touching on because I, I think there's just so much happening, guys. You, you all know this, like I do this for a living, tracking the news and reporting, and shit, it's hard for me to keep up with what's going on, let alone— I know for those of you who are working 50 hours a week at some day job and then trying to come home and, you know, maybe listen to a podcast or read the news or whatever, there's a lot happening. So sometimes we have to stop and pause and see what's happening and catch up on old stories. So here we go. U.S. sex offender Epstein found dead outside of Paris. Excuse me, I think that headline is being blocked. French modeling scout linked to U.S. sex offender Epstein found dead outside Paris. Daniel Syad, a French modeling scout with links to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead outside Paris, prosecutors said on Wednesday morning. Now, okay, that, that means Jeffrey Epstein allegedly killed this guy. And as we're going to talk in a moment, Jean-Luc Brunel, who was really the French connection to the Jeffrey Epstein network, he also allegedly killed himself in prison while awaiting to go trial. So, um, this guy, um, Saad, Daniel Saad, was found dead outside his home, 69 years old. He was one of several French men accused of aiding Epstein to traffic and abuse women. He had not been questioned yet by investigators. Huh. So before he could be questioned, he, he died. But he had denied allegations, saying he wanted to be heard and give his version of events. And the prosecutor's office says an investigation to determine the cause of death was open on Monday, even evening following the discovery. An autopsy will be carried out as part of the probe. We're going to search in just a moment because, like I said, this is back in July to see if there's been any updates. So Syed had been accused of rape allegations, and he was a subject of investigation related to human trafficking. His name appears in the Jeffrey Epstein documents more than 1,000 times, and he likened his efforts to recruit women to fishing. He said to Epstein in 2014, in this business, I feel like fishermen. Sometimes I cash quick Sometimes no fish. Syed had insisted that the American sex offender had, quote, taken advantage of his trust. You know, he— that you're talking about fishing for women surely had nothing to do with trafficking. I was taken advantage of, he said. And French authorities in 2020 arrested modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel after allegations he procured women for U.S. billionaires. Yes, they were allegations and they were fucking true, and we know that. And Jean-Luc Brunel was found dead in prison in 2022 Allegedly, who knows, maybe he got away with Epstein. But before we talk about Jean-Luc Pinel, I want to show you this other article. This is also coming from earlier this year, but it's important to note this is before Syed had been arrested or had been found allegedly dead. The Jeffrey— how Jeffrey Epstein used South Africa as his hunting ground. And this is important because this is, you know, there's so many threads that came out in these emails and, and documents that haven't really been pulled. And this is one of them. And obviously, I don't live in South Africa, so I'm not following every development as it relates to the country. But this outlet, the Daily Maverick, found that there was quite a bit in the files relating to South Africa. And South Af— and September 13, an unknown correspondent, September 2013, wrote an unknown correspondent wrote to Jeffrey Epstein: "Alwan was Alwan, whom you know in South Africa besides President Mandela and President Zuma." Many, replied Epstein. Epstein, a relentless networker, was not lying. The tranche of 3 million records which released back in February show that Jeffrey Epstein had South African ties going back to the 1980s. Now, this is interesting to me for many reasons, but let me just say this real quick. If you know that Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and many other technocrats, they have South African connections. Not saying those 2 things are connected, but it's just interesting how much business and networks Jeffrey Epstein had in South Africa as well. When a South African hotelier chief of staff emailed Epstein in 2010 for a New York meeting, Epstein's email account responded, Jeffrey and Ghislaine Maxwell have met with him, and you might remind him that their first contact was with David and Cathy Lurie in the '80s. So they're talking about going back to the '80s. There are references when the— within the emails to Epstein holding meetings with South African-born former Glencore CEO Ivan Glassenberg Businessman Rob Herzog's contact details are also found in the address book. And in an October 2014 exchange, Jeffrey Epstein advised a contact to approach African Rainbow Minerals CEO Patrice Motsep for an investment plan. So the point being, none of those names are familiar to me and probably most of my audience. But the point being, just like many other places, Epstein was all up in there. He had business contacts and he was, he was using them to his advantage. Now let me just see real quick. This is where you can get the Syed connection. This is why I wanted to bring this up. As we just reported, Daniel Syed found dead in France in July. He was one of Epstein's long-term contacts, and the emails show that Syed was recruiting young girls for Epstein in South Africa. He says Epstein seems to have made heavy use of a so-called scout, Daniel Syed, who is described in another email as a recruiter of girls and/or women for Jay Epstein. Chat logs show Syed sending Epstein pictures of girls from various world cities for review. On one such occasion, indicating the level of control he expected to exercise over his victims, Epstein responded to a photograph saying, quote, she is nice. Her boobs are awful. They will have to be redone. One of the cities that Daniel Syed prowled for Epstein was Cape Town, which Syed told Epstein was, quote, a place where, quote, potential of girls was huge. So, I mean, he's literally just combing through the streets of Africa, South Africa, looking for girls to recruit and to traffic to Jeffrey Epstein and his network. And, uh, so it goes on, you know, from there, and there's more information there. Again, like, my main focus right now is just to show you, uh, Syed and how Daniel Syed, who was found dead in France, he was helping Jeffrey Epstein recruit girls in South Africa. You can find all of my different reports, my interviews, and things like that. And let's just look up Jean-Luc Brunel here real quick. Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel found dead. And I did hashtag Jean-Luc Brunel didn't kill himself. Um, you can see this, 60 Minutes, American Girls in Paris. Back in 1988, 60 Minutes did a report on Jean-Luc Brunel showing how he was abusing models and nobody did anything about it. In fact, I think the Ford, the head of Ford, I think Ellen Ford, Elaine Ford, she helped cover it up. But as you see here, Jean-Luc Brunel was found dead in 2022, and I did a report on this way back then talking about it. And so now Jean-Luc Brunel's dead, Daniel Syad's dead, who was another recruiter. Jeffrey Epstein's allegedly dead. I mean, this, if this isn't picking up the pieces and clearing the game board, so to speak, So that nobody can speak about the truth, I don't know what it is, guys, but it sure seems like somebody doesn't want Daniel Syed, Jean-Luc Brunel, and Jeffrey Epstein to talk and share what they know. So they all end up magically dead, and there are other people in the Jeffrey Epstein network that are dead. And, um, you know, as I said just a few moments ago, I haven't done a report every single week when there was a new email for Jeffrey Epstein because honestly, I think it's kind of Exhausting. I know that you guys can get Epstein content on every other channel out there, and I don't think it's all worth covering. I think there's a lot of bad information about Epstein. Uh, in fact, I've seen this one thing where, like, it's, it's a meme out there. People are like, well, now we found out that they're all eating babies. And I don't think we did find that out. There's no clear-cut evidence of eating babies in the Jeffrey Epstein emails. Yes, there's some weird stuff talking about jerky and, uh, you know, the pizzas and the hot dogs and all that kind of stuff. And I don't claim to know what's what, but we don't have some email that says we're headed to eat babies at Jeffrey Epstein's or something like that. So my point being, there's a lot of bad information out there, and I still do follow up with the Jeffrey Epstein saga, including I've been watching how in Europe— we were talking about France and Daniel Syed— there are prosecutors trying to investigate the European connections to Jeffrey Epstein, and the Trump DOJ has been resisting and not allowing them. In fact, let me go ahead and pull that up real quick. The Trump DOJ has been, um, kind of fighting prosecutors and, and refusing to cooperate. Uh, let me see if I can pull this article up. So my point being that I do and will report on these stories as I think that they are relevant, but I also don't want to just get caught up in, um, you know, every single little bit of minutia here that's going on. So yeah, here it is. This is— there's— you can find this reported many, many places, but let me just pull up one article right here. Uh, says— go over here, get out of my face, reject cookies— European law enforcement agencies investigating Jeffrey Epstein say the DOJ has not helped. Uh, law enforcement agencies in Europe that have been investigating Epstein say that the Justice Department under Donald Trump has not been responding to requests for help. And so that just kind of tells you where Trump's DOJ is at. They're not, they're not really trying to help them cooperate with the Europeans. And you could say it's some geopolitical stuff, or Trump's trying to stick it to those, those Europe— European folks and all, whatever. But I think we all know Trump's just covering his ass and his, his, his network's ass. And so they're not going to report on these, these topics. You can't expect them. So what I'm gonna cover now, these next couple of articles that I'm going to show you on screen, is actually a preview of my article I'm writing for The Last American Vagabond. You guys know I'm a weekly contributor at T-Lab with Ryan Christian. And so I have one more article that I'll be writing this month for September, and it is going to be focused on this conversation about rogue AI. Now, my last podcast a couple weeks ago, I asked, are we being prepped for a rogue AI psyop. And I looked at some articles from our friends over at, um, over at, uh, OffGuardian, Kit Knightley. And, uh, Kat and Kit Knightley, OffGuardian, the whole team, they're part of the Independent Media Alliance. And actually, probably next week, the Independent Media Alliance is going to be having a new panel where we're going to bring some of our brightest minds together to dissect this narrative. Like, are we having a rogue— is there— is this all just hysteria and psyops? Is there any real reason to be concerned about AI, or is it yeah like is it all just a just just garbage and don't even pay any attention to it? So we will be dissecting that, and I shared some of my opinions on the show last week, so I'm not gonna repeat what I said last week. But what I want to share with you just a little preview of this article that I'm working on. So let's go ahead and look at this now. The latest news here is that. Now Google has claimed that they are— they have been hacked, that they have been hacked, and, uh, they are just the latest company to be hacked by a rogue AI who got out of its sandbox and, and, you know, did some bad things. Google says its AI hacked 3 companies in testing breakout. This is just reported, uh, September 18th. It was just a couple days ago. A third-party, a third-party test company inadvertently gave internet access to Google's Gemini and other artificial intelligence models during the security testing. Okay, so Google's artificial intelligence system Gemini escaped its testing environment in May and hacked into 3 companies, the search giant said on Friday. The incidents occurred during tests to measure the cybersecurity capabilities of Gemini, and the AI model stopped its own attacks after logging into 3 companies' networks. Uh, this disclosure of the hacks follows similar breakouts at other leading AI labs, including Anthropic, OpenAI and Meta. So now you've got Meta saying that their agents, their AI bots hacked out and, you know, got onto the internet and hacked another company. We got the OpenAI with the Hugging Face. We got Anthropic, all of the 3 majors and now Google. So the top 4 big tech companies and AI developers saying that they have had some form of rogue AI getting out of its box and doing something that's not supposed to. And so some industry leaders like Dario Amodei, the Anthropic CEO, have responded by calling for a slowdown in the development of AI. Others like Jensen Huang, the chief executive of chipmaker Nvidia, said that AI development should continue apace. Okay, so that's just the headline here. But now what my article is going to be about— my article is titled Irregular: The Israeli Company at the Center of These Rogue AI Incidents. What do I mean by that? Well, when you start to dig into all of these different incidents where they're telling us that these AI agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, and so, so on and so forth, when you look into it, you realize that they all involve the same testing company. So here we go. This gives us a little more detail. The Gemini incidents occurred while the model was undergoing testing by Irregular, an Israeli startup that works with tech companies to assess their AI models before they public— are publicly released. Models made by OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta also gained unauthorized access to the internet internet this year while being tested by Irregular. And Irregular said in a blog post last month that, quote, internet access was unintentionally made available, led some models to take offensive security actions in the real world. Okay, so that to me, guys, does start to seem like a red flag. Not just— I'm not just saying it because, oh, it's an Israeli company, but I mean, come on. That it does make you ask some questions. So the 4 big AI companies, tech companies, they say that they have incidents where their AI agents break out of their box and they go on an attack and they attacked other companies or they gained access to the internet. And this was part of testing. And the companies that were in— the company that was involved in the testing is the same company, Irregular, an Israeli startup. So my article is going to be diving deep into, well, who the heck is Irregular and who funds them and who invested in them and who is the CEO of them? And is there any reason to be suspicious of the fact that all of these companies have a connection to Irregular? And then we're being told to be afraid because during testing they broke out. But actually, it turns out that it was more of a mistake caused by Irregular. Irregular even admits— let me go back to the article here— Irregular even admits that it was a flaw in their testing. Okay, so it says internet access was unintentionally made available, and they said that the flaw that allowed the models to access the internet has been fixed, allegedly. So that means it shouldn't happen anymore. But nevertheless, isn't it convenient that an Israeli startup— and if you know anything about the Israeli tech industry, especially if you've watched The Pyramid of Power where I did a whole section about Israel on— I think it's chapter 12— about the intelligence networks. And I did a deep dive into how many tech startups have been launched by former members of Unit 8200, Unit 81, the Talpiot program. I mean, Israel, their intelligence networks are just starting massive amount of tech companies. And so yeah, it's not surprising that there is an Israeli startup involved with Irregular. But isn't it convenient that that is the company at the center of these alleged rogue AI incidents? So here's my theory, and this is all speculation, so let me be clear about that. If the rogue AI narrative is a psyop, which I'm uncertain— like I said, I think there are real-world concerns that we should be paying attention to with AI— but if it is a psyop, or at least if it is being exaggerated, Isn't it convenient that the same company was involved with all of these rogue AI incidents? Now imagine if the Israelis, and for one reason or another, if the Zionist lobby stands to benefit or has some motive to keep people afraid of AI and this rogue AI narrative, which some people are saying, oh, this is so that they can get themselves regulated and then they can, you know, they can basically smother out the small independent companies, open source companies who can't afford the regulation that the big guys can afford. If the Zionist lobby has that motive and that intention, is it out of the question to say, hmm, maybe they intentionally allow these rogue AI agents to get out of their box and to go make attacks only so later they could claim, oh my God, the AI did things we didn't ask it to. It's out of the box and now we have to do regulation or whatever other goals they may have. I think it's possible. So that's going to be what I will be investigating this week because I just find it coincidental, weird, odd, whatever you want to say, that, uh, that all of these companies have this connection to this Israeli startup. Let me go a little deeper, show you another article. Meta claims its own AI also hacked into a third-party service during testing. So this was last month, and as you search here, you'll see the mention of Irregular. It says, um, Andy Stone, Meta spokesperson, said that Meta's Muse Spark 1.1 AI model accessed the internet from what was supposed to be an isolated testing environment and hacked into a third-party service. They said the model was able to access the internet due to a misconfiguration in the testing environment by the company's evaluation partner Irregular. So again, Irregular is due to blame here. And let me just see if they mentioned the Israeli— that they're an Israeli company. Uh, the startup based in Tel Aviv runs tests on frontier AI models and assesses their cybersecurity capabilities by simulating real-world scenarios. A spokesperson for The Irregular told Bloomberg that the incidents did not involve a sandbox escape or a sophisticated cyber action. And so it says Irregular is developing a white paper to share best practices for commitment and securely running cyber evaluations. So again, Again, just the acknowledgement that Irregular is at the heart of this. Here's another article from the Tech Times. This is one of the better ones I saw. Meta breach reveals Irregular cleared Muse Sparks risk, then caused the breach it had cleared. So basically they're just acknowledging that again Irregular is at the heart of this. Now here we get a little bit more details. These are the kind of details that I'm gonna be elaborating on in my upcoming article, which you will find at The Last American Vagabond. Irregular was founded in Tel Aviv in 2023 by CEO Dan Lahav and CTO Omer Nevo. I'm going to look into both of them. It raised $80 million in a Series A led by Sequoia Capital and Redpoint Ventures. So let's look into them. Who runs those venture capital firms and who's behind them? Is there a Peter Thiel connection? Is there any other connections? And, uh, so they raised $80 million and positioned itself as the evaluation partner of record for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google. Its core business is running controlled environments where frontier AI models are stress-tested for cybersecurity capabilities. And apparently they're not very good at it because this is the second time that— actually the fourth time that with all 4 of these companies, Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, all used Irregular and they didn't do a good job. So I will be looking further into this. Now, one last point I want to make, because like I said, I do think there might be some legitimate concern related to AI. And this article points out one of the potential concerns. So let's look at this. Now, this is sort of a separate incident. So let's set aside your moment, your mind for a moment, all the things I was just discussing. So it says the UK's AI Security Institute published an incident report on unsanctioned agent behavior during cyber testing that put the evaluation containment containment problem in sharper relief than anything the labs had disclosed. In 122 evaluation runs conducted at the AI Security Institute between July 25th and 28th, the agency documented 19 instances in which AI agents, which were primarily Anthropic's Mythos-5 as well as OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol, took autonomous, unsanctioned actions directed at real people and organizations. The AISI evaluation was distinct from the irregular connected incident. So again, this has nothing to do with the Israeli company. This is totally separate. So even if the Israeli company is some sort of psyop, this is separate, and this seems to be concerning. The AISI deliberately granted internet access to measure maximum model capability under permissive conditions. What the agency did not anticipate was the extent of the behavior that followed. So in this case, they did give the AI agents access to the internet. But they did not tell them, go attack other companies, go input malicious code. But that's what it did all on its own without anybody asking. So it says here, the most consequential sequence, which played out over 34.5 hours, began when Mythos-5 tried to insert malicious code into a publicly used open source project on GitHub. When a human reviewer flagged the suspicious request, the model did not stop. It researched the project's actual human maintainers. It created multiple fake online identities, and it used those fake identities to socially engineer the real maintainer of this code on GitHub into approving this malicious code. Then the AI model used Tor, which, as you guys know, is one allegedly anonymous network to route around GitHub's network restrictions. And this is what first triggered the IISI security monitoring. So what they said in response— this is again the AI Security Institute in the UK— they said this was, quote, the first time we have seen risks around autonomy and deception manifest this clearly without specific prompting in the real world. The models were never instructed to deceive. Deception emerged as a byproduct of their goal-directed persistence when the assigned task became difficult to complete through permitted means. Now that's a lot of words there, but let me break that down. Because this, I think, is important, especially to my friends who say that there's no real-world evidence that AI poses any kind of danger. So they're saying that they gave the AI models a task, and the task— these models are basically just designed to be as persistent as possible. You must accomplish this task, even if it seems impossible, find a way. And so it's trying to complete its task, And it decided to deceive people and to go above and beyond in order to complete that task, even because it basically became impossible to complete the task through the means that it was expected to, through the safe means or the allowed means. So instead, it went out of the way to do something that was completely unexpected, and it socially engineered this situation. And so, as they say here, the social engineering Mythos 5 conducted at AISI is that that is operating in the real world on real humans, not a theory. And so this is called— is what AI safety researchers call instrumental convergence. This is a documented tendency of goal-directed AI systems to pursue similar subgoals, including self-preservation and freedom from interference, regardless of their specific objectives. And so this instrumental convergence thesis, it predicts that a sufficiently capable reward-seeking AI agent will discover and pursue whatever instrumental strategies best available to achieve its objectives, including deception when deception is effective. So, you know, an easy way to say that is if you give it a task in— under this instrumental convergence theory, the AI will do whatever it thinks is necessary in order to achieve its goals, including deception, deceiving people. So I'm not saying it is sentient. I'm not saying this is superhuman or superintelligence, but that's pretty fucking scary if you ask me. And that does show that if humans give an AI agent a task, even if that task isn't explicitly go attack some company, access the internet, do it by whatever means possible, that they might decide, well, I need to be deceptive in order to achieve my goals. So even if it's not autonomous, self-aware, superintelligence, that seems pretty dangerous, guys. So I am skeptical that these rogue AI claims are 100% true. And I'm also skeptical that there's, oh, nothing to see here. It's all just a marketing stunt and there's nothing to worry about. But let me know what you guys think in the comments. And let's go ahead and get to our final story. For our final story of the night, we're going to look at the Iran war. We're going to continue the AI conversation. Also talk about diesel and the bird flu. We got a lot to cover and it all kind of intersects. So we're going to go to an article from my buddy Christian Westbrook, a.k.a. Unshadowed. formerly known as Ice Age Farmer. So this is something he recently posted on his Substack here. The AI bird flu scenario they just published brought backyard flocks and complete— and compute locked in one fell swoop. Now this is an interesting one because we're talking about the whole AI thing. We're gonna talk about AI a little bit. We're gonna get into diesel. We're gonna go back to AI and we're gonna wrap up. A month ago, Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall laid out a scenario in Foreign Affairs. She is not a science fiction author. She was White House Homeland Security Advisor from 2021 to She coordinated the response to the 2024 bird flu in the U.S. She wrote, "In the foreseeable future, a terrorist group with minimal skills could access a jailbroken AI. The group could use the model to design a new strain of H5N1 avian influenza that is more lethal and more easily spread from animals to humans than existing strains. Connecting remotely to one of the new generations of." fully equipped contract-for-service cloud labs. It could anonymously arrange for the virus to be built and then sent to a biomanufacturing facility to be produced at scale. From there, the group could stealthily disperse the new strain through air handling systems at major livestock farms across the U.S. Before long, American poultry, beef, and dairy industries would suffer massive losses. When the virus inevitably jumped to the human population, it would cause severe illness and could result hundreds of thousands or even millions of deaths. Now, of course, I'm gonna add the caveat— this is all if you even believe viruses exist, which I know many people don't, and I myself am skeptical of. But, you know, let's read on because this could just be part of the fear-mongering. But nevertheless, whether it's just fear-mongering or it's something that they're planning, it's probably something to pay attention to because Foreign Affairs magazine, just FYI, is the magazine of the Council on Foreign Relations. So So it might be something to pay attention to. So the same day from that report, there was also another report called Deterrence by Resilience, which made policy recommendations responding to this, including restricting unlicensed models, AI. So basically, if you've got an open-source AI and it's not approved by the state, well, that's gonna have to be licensed and restricted. And I think that's one of the goals of this rogue AI potential psyop. And then it also says on September 10th, 2026, Anthropic published Detecting and Countering Misuse of AI, documenting cases of people using Claude to help with questionable purposes, including weaponized drones and performing gain-of-function working on H5. And so they're already kind of putting it out there. Anthropic just this month, September 2026, put it out there, the idea that people could use AI to engineer viruses and things like that. Again, this could just be part of the rogue AI scare tactics. Or it could be prepping us for some kind of false flag. And then Christian describes how there's several situations outlining this. February 2025, the Munich Security Conference, they held a tabletop, tabletop exercise called Fighting Smart Pandemics, describing an anarchist cell that claims they made a virus with AI that spreads around the world. February 2025, Munich Security Conference again, they held a tabletop exercise called Safeguarding Against Global Catastrophe. Which presented a, quote, global pandemic that eventually results in more than 850 million cases and 60 million deaths, um, sparked by a novel enterovirus that was intentionally engineered by an extremist group using AI. So they're trying to get it in our head that some extremist group's going to use AI to develop a virus. April 2026, the RAND Group hosts a tabletop exercise 10 times in which participants faced a global pandemic triggered by students' accidental release of an AI-engineered virus. So nevertheless, it seems like we're being prepped for this, that there may be something coming and it may have some catastrophic impacts on, um, you know, on the farming industry, dairies, animals, etc., etc. And so this is one of the things that, uh, Christian gets into. This is article worth reading the entire thing. I'm just skimming through it. I do also want to mention how he talks about how Ginkgo Bioworks, who I've written reports on— this is a company working on bioengineering, synthetic engineering, And so they're kind of getting in on this as well. And it says Ginkgo Bioworks, a company that worked with federal agencies during the COVID pandemic, already works with a partner that assesses roughly half the nation's commercial milk supply for bacteria, antibiotics, and other substances. Adding the bird flu to the list would be straightforward. So why wouldn't we just add assays into the infrastructure that we already have? So separately, they developed a gene analysis product which detects Markers of genetic engineering. So Christian is essentially saying that all of this is converging where there may be some staged or real attack that they say was caused by an AI or some kind of anarchist terror cell, and that ends up disrupting the food supply and also would work greatly to furthering this whole rogue AI scenario as well. So it kind of hits multiple points. It fucks up the food supply. It spreads, you know, pandemic fear and virus fear, and it also causes restrictions and loss of food supply. And also, like I said, goes into the rogue AI scenario. So now let's look at another one that Christian shared. This is related more to the Iran war, and many people are feeling this at the pump, how diesel— there's been these different reports of diesel going out in different places. So actually, just real quick, me and Christian talked about this. back in March 2024, right as the war was getting started. Is the Iran War another gateway to the Great Reset? This will be in the show notes if you want to check that out, because we talked about how the Iran War and attacks on oil and gas fields play perfectly into the hands of the technocrats and the Great Reset. And we're actually seeing that now. Now there's been, uh, you know, issuings of, uh, of, of lockdowns, you know, uh, climate lockdowns, and, uh, we need to have people only getting gas based on their license plate and rationing of fuel. And just recently, the WEF and the UN FAO declared a food crisis, which they issued policy recommendations including drone and AI surveillance of farmland and using gene-edited crops. The UN also has declared a water bankruptcy, not just a crisis, but saying we're in the middle of a water bankruptcy. So while this is going on, diesel's hitting record highs. People are really starting to feel it. And of course, all this feeds into the digital ID narrative. And now, so just to go back here, Christian also points out this, that this is just a week ago, one week ago, Wall Street Journal: Oil executives warn a global fuel crisis has arrived as Hormuz closure bites. Oil executives, including Chevron chief Mike Wirth, say that a global fuel crisis has arisen as the Strait of Hormuz closure drains fuel stocks and reserves. Diesel and petrol prices have surged The White House insists the disruption is temporary. And so it points to, you know, the article here, oil hitting $100, crude oil hitting $100 a barrel, and so on and so forth. And there's different examples in there. So that was after, of course, attacks knocked out a major Saudi crude pipeline and, you know, bypassed the Strait of Hormuz. Now actually, let me go over here, see if I can pull up a Corbett Report real quick. To see if we can. Yeah, let me go to corporate report because James Corbett also reported on this recently, showing how all of this is converging on you know like a crisis. Like this is the oil crisis coming to bear. This is this is oil being disrupted because of the Strait of Hormuz, oil being disrupted because of the attacks on Saudi Arabia, and so on and so forth. So here, let me go ahead to this report from James Corbett. The This Week in World Warfare. Let's pull this one up here. And this is worth your read. I didn't actually plan to pull this one up, so I didn't have this in my show notes, but he just talks about all the different conflicts going on. Xi and Trump, President Xi and Trump are supposed to meet this week at the UN summit. We'll talk about that in a moment. Saudi Arabia, the East-West pipeline is attacked, petrodollar. And actually James did this funny picture for those who need a visual visualization. The Strait of Hormuz is closed. The Abu Dhabi crude oil pipeline's right here. The east-west crude oil pipeline, natural gas pipeline in Saudi Arabia has been shut down. So all of these things are converging now to basically mean you're going to pay more for gas. You're going to pay more for food. And that's why myself and Christian were asking way back in the beginning, is this part of the plan? Was this the whole goal? Not to say that the war isn't real at all, that real people aren't dying or anything, because they definitely are, unfortunately. Because these people are psychos, but that it will play into the hands of the technocratic psychopaths, the predator class, the parasite class. All of these things are converging. Alleged potential attacks coming from AI, alleged attacks coming through, you know, through viruses being engineered from AI, real attacks from the war in Iran and Saudi Arabia and related Middle East conflicts. impacting oil and impacting energy in general. And then of course that attacking food. Now let's go back to AI as we start to wrap up here for a moment. This was just reported a couple of days ago from CNN. Exclusive, the US military had a close call after using AI for false intelligence reports, sources say. So take that for what you want, but this is at least something they want us to think about. An intelligence report had said that a Chinese ship in the Middle East was transporting components of a nuclear weapons program. The US military swung into action with plans to intercept the vehicle. According to 2 sources, armed members of the US military were preparing to board the ship, this Chinese ship that they were told by some report had components of a nuclear weapon. Military planes were in the air, but right before they went ahead and did this, which could have caused World War III, They realized that the report was put together by a Special Operations Command analyst, had been generated by AI, and that it had used inaccurate information identifying the material the ship was carrying. And they said, whoops. And then now they said the whole report was entirely false, but it, quote, almost started a war. Any US operation against a Chinese vessel could have risked spiraling into an armed conflict between the two nations. Imagine what would have happened if this is true and if they went forward and the US military stopped some Chinese ship and said, we're getting on board here. We know you guys got nuclear weapons, and then whoops, everything was wrong, we just listened to AI. Now that could have spiraled really badly. Again, that could just be more fear-mongering. We'll see. But it's just another narrative out there. Now this week, as I mentioned, is the UN General Assembly. Trump's supposed to meet with Xi. And this was reported a couple days ago: US and China security experts propose nuclear-style safeguards for AI. An AI system that interferes with a nuclear command network or launches a military cyber operation could leave Washington or Beijing with minutes to decide whether the other government attacked. The experts, part of a US-Chinese dialogue, are urging both governments to prepare for such scenarios amid rising concerns about increasingly powerful and autonomous systems. And of course, this is, as, as I said, this issue with allegedly an AI, you know, report almost causing some conflict between the US and China. And this is as Trump and Xi are supposed to meet for AI-related talks on September 24th. That is this coming Thursday. So I'm recording on September 21st. They're going to be meeting on Thursday as part of the UN General Assembly, as Trump— as, uh, James Corbett talked about here, the Trump-Xi summit, which will be talking about AI and cognitive warfare. And so we'll see. Is this all going to be discussing the rogue AI thing? Is this going to be talking about, you know, is this going to be the potential of a convergence of the US and China launching some new agreement that have— could have real-world ramifications and wide-reaching ramifications? Or is it all just going to be a nothing burger? I mean, because that's, that's, that's a reality too, right? This could just be Trump and Xi meet and nothing happens, but it also could stoke the flames of of alleged World War III. They could say, well, Trump and Xi met and they couldn't come to an agreement, so now both countries are going to continue to race forward on the race to AI, autonomous AI, artificial super general intelligence, and, you know, we're all doomed. I don't claim to know. I tend to be very skeptical of this narrative about the US and China and Russia. Yes, they have conflicts, but if you look into the history, guys, of how China got so powerful, Henry Kissinger and the West and the same Wall Street bankers that control the US and many of these countries. I kind of think a lot of it is just soap opera, WWE, you know, fake wrestling drama, kayfabe, things like that. That doesn't mean real people won't be hurt in the process, but I'm skeptical whenever I hear these narratives about, you know, US and China and Russia, but we'll see. So I know that was a lot there. We went from talking about this AI rogue AI narrative to how it's related to these claims about AI is going to produce viruses that are going to disrupt the global food supply, and then to how that ties into the rise of diesel prices and oil prices and how that's relating to the war. And then at the same time, Russia, China, and the US are getting ready to meet to discuss AI. There's a lot going on, guys, and this is one of the reasons why I wanted to do a show this week. I only do this show whenever I feel like it's necessary and I have something to share. I don't want to fearmonger. I don't want to just spread fear porn. I want you to think about these things. I want you to reflect on them, to pray on them, and to really think like, if these scenarios do happen, what can you do for your friends and family? If there's a nuclear war, there's not a lot we can do. Now I know that there's gonna be some of my audience who are like, Derek, nukes are fake. I haven't gone down that rabbit hole yet. I will eventually. I'm just too busy with other things. Maybe it is fake. I kind of doubt it, but feel free to comment below with your best, you know, what's your best, your best evidence that it is fake if you believe so. But with all that said and done, we're going to get out of here for today, guys. A couple of notes before we do.
